Veronica Wardowski is a 23-year-old designer from Metro Detroit, shaped by a musical education and an upbringing rooted in creativity. Her parents have been her earliest and most lasting artistic influences, teaching her that there is a solution to any problem and that the more unconventional the solution, the more likely you have succeeded. The city and its communities continue to inform her perspective, grounding her work in strength, culture, and lived experience.
Driven by experimentation, she works with unconventional materials and studies patternmaking to push form and challenge expectations. Her lens is rooted in power and womanhood, using dress as a way to uplift the person wearing it.
She creates for the thrill of watching someone feel fantastical in what they wear and for the energy that comes from collaboration across projects, films, and publications. While pursuing her undergraduate studies, she immersed herself in the creative scenes of New York and London, gaining perspective and understanding that learning never stops and that travel is homework for life, not a reward for work. Each place, person, and exchange continues to shape the way she sees and creates.
